What Inspired us to create Thinking Owl
Thinking Owl is a full-service Interior design firm based in Thane, a busy suburb of Mumbai. We are committed to designing excellence, responsibility, and sustainability. Dedicated to the creation of custom interiors,
We complete projects tailored to the individual styles and needs of the clients, on budget and on time. Thinking Owl is known for creating dynamic spaces that enrich the personal and business lives of their clients and staff.
From vintage, antique, contemporary, modern, rustic, to classic and industrial, we provide expert solutions in all the styles.
Apart from providing design and architectural services, we run state-of-the-art boutique furniture and décor studio at Thane. Our prowess covers an endless array of beautifully handcrafted artifacts & furniture – from beds, study tables, TV units, dining table sets, leather sofas, outdoor furniture, hardware, wardrobes, hand-painted home decor artifacts, never before seen chandeliers, wall décor, and so much more.
Tejashree Ghanekar
With a total experience of 10 plus years, Tejashree heads the interior designing segment of Thinking Owl. Her portfolio includes designs from different industries and her taste for innovative designs has won her accolades from her clients as well as peers. She has done her interior design course at the Rachna Sansad School for Interior Design, Mumbai. Her focus is always on interior detailing, strong finish selections, and hand-selected furnishings.
She enjoys working on new unusual materials and takes pride in staying updated with the latest products and technologies. She has previously worked at renowned architects and designers – Talati Panthaky & Associates and was head designer at Studio 5 India, Mumbai before co-founding her own venture i.e. Thinking Owl. Also, a number of her projects have appeared in leading magazines & TV shows in the industry such as Inside Outside, Society Interiors, ABP Maza, and Travel & Living – Ms. Malini Show.
